Cameron McVeigh, CA, CFA

Managing Director & Investment Committee Member

Cam founded Camcor in 1997. He previously held positions of increasing responsibility with 2 international chartered accountancy firms practicing in the areas of taxation, insolvency, and corporate finance. A hands on member of the Camcor team, he currently sits on numerous boards of directors related to Camcor Funds.

Ian Fergusson, CA, CFA

Managing Director & Investment Committee Member

Ian is one of Camcor’s longest serving team members joining the firm in 1998. Prior to that, he worked with an international chartered accountancy firm for 4 years in Canada and Australia working in taxation and audit. Ian currently represents Camcor interests on numerous boards of directors related to our funds.

Andrew Judson, MBA

Managing Director & Investment Committee Member

Andrew joined Camcor in 2013. Previously he was a Managing Director with an energy focused boutique investment dealer, with offices in Calgary and London, helping lead the Capital Markets group. Andrew was responsible for covering some of the largest institutional investors in Canada, the United States and Europe, advising on their energy related investments. Andrew serves on several boards of directors of Camcor portfolio companies.

Jeff Skingle, MBA

Vice-President

Jeff joined Camcor in 2007. Prior to that, he was employed with BMO Capital Markets for 2 years in the Loan Products Group, providing corporate banking services for a variety of senior and junior exploration and production firms, oil sands operators and royalty trusts. He also worked with RBC Royal Bank for 2 years in the commercial lending group.

Craig Burton, P.Eng.

Vice-President

Craig joined Camcor in 2015. Prior to that, he was Vice-President of Business Development & New Plays at NuVista Energy Ltd. Prior to joining NuVista, he held reservoir and exploitation engineering positions with EOG Resources Canada, Renaissance Energy Ltd., and Imperial Oil Resources Ltd. Craig is also a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists & Geophysicists of Alberta.

Anita Swanson, CA

Chief Financial Officer

Anita joined Camcor in 2012. Prior to joining Camcor, she was Manager of Finance and Assistant Controller with 2 family offices located in Calgary for 9 years. Prior to that Anita worked in the audit practice at Ernst & Young for 4 years. She received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Saskatchewan and her Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.

Dean Potter, P.Geol., M.Sc.

Technical Advisor

Dean is a Geologist with 35 years of oil & gas experience. Currently, he is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Burgess Creek Exploration. Prior to that he was Founder, President and CEO of Elkhorn Resources as well as Founder, President and CEO of Medora Resources. Camcor was a founding equity investor in all 3 companies. Dean is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta.

Donald Nelson, P.Eng.

Technical Advisor

Don is an Engineer with over 35 years of oil & gas experience. He was with Summit Resources Limited holding the positions of President and CEO (1998 to 2002) and Vice-President, Operations (1996 to 1998). He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Mr. Nelson sits on the Board of Directors of Keyera Corp.

Neil Dell, P.Eng.

Technical Advisor

Neil is an Engineer with over 40 years of oil & gas experience. He joined GLJ Petroleum Consultants in 1979 and enjoyed a 31 year career before retiring in 2010. From 1993, he led the Small Business Service Group at GLJ. Neil is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
